Yesterday called for a photo/some chat of/about myself from two years ago. This is me two years ago:
I'm at my friend's farewell party before he shipped out the army. I'd just gotten back from my year in Scotland. I was chronically depressed, working at the local club scraping potato bake out of the buffet and not-so-pateintly waiting for the time roll around when I could sneak off to Sydney and start university. I had some seriously asymmetrical hair happening and my skin was so pale it was practically transparent. I spent the whole time biting my tongue regarding poor life choice and careers in the army. I succeeded. I was in for an interesting year involving egotistical, dysfunctional med students, some heavy drinking and the forging of some very special friendships.
Day six (that would be today for those of you playing along at home) calls for a photograph of an animal I'd like to keep as a pet. I had to think about this for a little bit. But this is what I came up with:
TEACUP PIGGY! They only grow to as big as they are there....and they're freaking cute. They're also retardedly expensive. Alternatively, if I were to pick something not designed for mere domesticity, I would choose:
Yes, that's right. A raven. Because then I could cruise around looking badass and magical all the time and it would be like Edgar Allen Poe. Brilliant....shuddup.
Anyway, that's all from me tonight. Now is time for sleepy face. Tomorrow I take on marauding haudes of small children who will be attempting to do some still life paintings. Guess who gets to be art assistant?
